Privacy Policy

1) Information we process

We only process the minimum information needed to run the app:

• Google account email address from your OAuth profile (for identifying and signing you in).
• The Google Sheet identifier you select in PiLog, so we can read/write your logbook rows.
• Your session data (stored as a secure cookie) so you remain signed in while using the app.

2) Where your flight data is stored

PiLog is designed to be data-resident in your own Google account. Your flight logs, aircraft list, and related entries remain in your selected Google Sheet. We do not copy or replicate your flight data into a PiLog database for long-term storage.

3) How we use data

• Authenticate your session via Google OAuth.
• Read and append rows in the sheet you selected.
• Show summaries, calculations, and printable reports inside the app UI.

4) Google API permissions

We request only the permissions needed to perform the app's core functions (Google Sheets access and profile email). We do not use your account data for advertising or unrelated services.

5) Sharing and access

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not share your logbook data with third parties for marketing.
• You can revoke PiLog access from your Google Account at any time.

6) Security

We use secure HTTPS connections and signed session cookies. For your security, keep your Google account credentials safe, use a trusted device/browser, and periodically review connected apps in Google Account settings.

7) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app or its processing changes. Updates apply from the published effective date.
